Pls advice the best city in Turkey for holidays. Thx.?

I think Turkey is a great vacation spot. Of course, Istanbul is a good choice because it's such a huge city. But, if you want to see nice beaches I would recommend Bodrum (a lively area) or Antalya (popular with European tourists... lots of 5 star resorts, etc.). Next to Antalya you can find the ancient city of Olympus. It was abandoned for so many years that a forest started to grow around it.





Other than those places, I would also recommend Pammukale (near Izmir, also a nice city) or Capadoocia.

My first choice would be Cappadocia, but it depends on what you like. Although I haven't been, everyone says Cappadocia is fasciniating. It has a giant ancient cave city which was a hiding place for early Christians to be executed under the order of the Roman Empire's ban of the new religion. It also has a lot of strange natural rock formations.Pls advice the best city in Turkey for holidays. Thx.?

I whould say this city will be Istanbul but I don,t know if you want to beach holiday then you should go to Marmaris or Bodrum or Altinkum they are all spectacular.
Istanbul, Istanbul and Istanbul! You'll want to go again and again.
let s plan a decent holiday.my suggestion is Antalya.While you re staying there.on your west destination Beldibi Goynuk Kemer Tekirova Kas .Dont miss Phaselis Olympos on the way.


On your east Side Alanya Gazipasa Mersin.陌 m talking about the whole mediterennean here.A coast longer than 600 km (much longer but you re not comin to explore the coast)





Also North side you ve got Egridir lake Pamukkale natural traverten hot baths.Bring your grandparents for rheumatism or lumbago treatment.


Antalya is allright for a good tan ,clean salty sea(salt % 000,39)a good history lesson,good afternoon sleep wonderful tasty fruits and vegs.
