Immigrating to Canberra ACT. Advice for best suburb to reside in rent then buy (have 2 kids 8 & 12 - schools?)?

There isn't any particular suburb that cater for you to ';rent then buy';.


Also... it is hard to tell yo what suburb you should go to because you didn't tell us your level of income.


Different suburbs DO tend to have certain demographics and thus, affordability.





School is not a major issue as many many children take public transport to schools of their choice outside their areas.





I suggest you do more research into the ACT government websites.

dont get a house in Charnwood. worst suburb in canberra. Try the inner south, in curtin or in weston creek. inner south is good, heaps of good schools.


for schools, try and get them into telopea park school in central. Its a good primary school and high school. and when they reach college (year 11 %26amp; 12) get them into narrabundah. best in canberra for public schools or radford (co-ed) for private high school
