I would say... ';Don't be an idiot... even when you really really really want to be!'; Or. .. ';Don't be an idiot...especially with something that might put your life or others' lives at risk.'; Or ';Don't be an idiot... especially if it might jeopardize your future! Find a way of being an idiot that only affects the present moment!';


There are different degrees of being an idiot... hopefully most teens won't choose the ways of being an idiot that will REALLY mess up their lives! But I think all of us did idiotic things as a teen... right? Just hopefully most of us will escape without permanent damage!

Work hard, learn from your mistakes or your peers mistakes, take school seriously and don't think everything is all about you! Find something you love to do and pursue it! Learn to accept responsibility.





Not all teens are idiots! Far from it; there are a lot of good, smart, hardworking kids out there that don't get near enough credit! I work in a retail environment and the loads that some of these kids are carrying is huge! School, work, paying for car and education and they still take time to volunteer for things like the ASPCA, Big Brothers %26amp; Big Sisters, Little League, etc. I think some of us ';elders'; could learn a thing or two from them!
