Be honest, keep communication lines open always. If you think about the complications in the relationship too much then you waste being with that person and just being who you are together.
My best advice is to just to TALK to each other when something's wrong. Always respectfully, and always fully explain what's going on. If you're the one who's being talked to, listen completely and do your best to work on whatever it is that your partner is asking you to do - even if it's something you may not agree with, it's something that was important enough to them to bring up.
I think when your in love you try to give the best that you can to that other person.

Never go to bed in an arguement when married. If you have to make up before bed so be it. And ding ding round 2 first thing in the morning the next day if needed. ';BUT NEVER IN BED';!
Don't bother
The best advice is not to listen to advice. Only you know what's good for you and your partner. There's no way you can encapsulate every nuance of your relationship to the person you're getting advice from and therefore such advice will be skewed.
