Dell,Ive bought a new one ,my son has my old one ,its 7 yrs old and still going strong,never had a problem with them.
Dell but building your own via a pc specialist is even better and cheaper.
IMHO not as simple a question as you may think, it depends on what you are after. Desktop/Laptop? Cost? Ease of buying? Advice, support when buying? Graphics? Reliability? Computing power? If Graphics capability - Go for an Apple. but they are not going to be cheapest. If ease of buying - try Dell, also Dell are very good on price. But HP-Compaq also make good machines. I own an Acer Laptop which is superb and good on price, my wife has an HP laptop, very good also, my son has a Dell desktop which again is high quality. My advice would be to write down your top wants/needs and select a machine on that basis.
the best pc manufacture is dell as you can design this to your needs no atter what they are. If you cant get a dell get a medion there good qulity pc for the price you will pay
