Eating Healthy- I'm trying my best! Need advice though!?

I seem to have this problem where I get so motivated to tone my body and eat healthy, but after 2 days of doing it I give up. I think it's because the only free time in the day I have to workout is the morning and I am NOT a morning person (I'm prone to sleeping in). Plus I just love food.





I realized today that summer/bikini season is literally right around the corner and I'm definitely not comfortable with my bikini bod for this year.





Today is my first day of eating healthy/excercising. I went on a 3 mile power-walk this morning and am feeelingg that haha. I've also eaten: oatmeal for breakfast, a tuna sandwich w/mayo for lunch, and 5 cheddar rice cakes. Not very good I guess..


(A lot of carbs?!)





But overall, is this a decent routine? And if I eat/workout like this every day can I expect quick results?





Does anyone have any simple tips for me as far as food, excercise, and HOW TO KEEP MYSELF MOTIVATED?? Haha, anything will help:) Thanks!Eating Healthy- I'm trying my best! Need advice though!?

i try so many times to get in shape, stay modivated! but its soo hard! i know how you feel, with bathing suit season around the corner im up to trying again! ive just been eating a lot of fruits and vegetables, and i drink water constantly! you'd be suprised but it really does fill you up! also, just try to eat when your hungry. let your stomach grown, then your hungry. and if you eat more small snacks, you wont be as hungry, and your motabolism will work harder then if you just ate 3 meals. so just keep your head up high, and try your best! and remember, every woman is beautiful just the way she is :) if you think more positive about yourself, it will reflect the way your seen! i swear. when i look in the mirror now, i try to find one great thing about my self. like, wow my hair looks really nice today :) or, my skins really clear this morning! then you feel better about yourself and the other little imperfections seem, well, little. haha. good luck! im sure you'll be looking HOT in no time xoEating Healthy- I'm trying my best! Just look at gorgeous bodies that you really like.. maybe print a pic out and put it somewhere you'll see!! That way whenever you see it you might be inspired to exercise more!! And try and push yourself past 2days. I mean the only person holding you back from your perfect body is yourself!! If its a matter about sleep.. go to bed earlier!! :)

Ha! I hear you! What I did today is I actually bought myself a bikini and I plan on putting it up on my wall so I see it everyday and for every time I wake up and think, ';I don't feel like running.'; When you surround yourself with the positive, you get better results.





As for your diet:


oatmeal for breakfast


Oatmeal is awesome but I would up the protein. Have some milk and maybe an egg or something. Fruit is also a good way to start the day.





a tuna sandwich w/mayo for lunch, and 5 cheddar rice cakes


Tuna is also awesome but make sure your bread is something healthy like rye or pumpernickel. Instead of mayo try hummus or tomato paste (the tomato paste tastes better than it sounds and there are lots of healthy properties in it). I'm not a fan of the rice cakes. High sugar, high sodium and high on the glycemic index (http://www.glycemicindex.com/). You're much better off just eating brown rice. You can make brown rice in low sodium broth and some shredded garlic. That's quite tasty.





Overall on nutrition, up protein and vegetables.
