I am going to vietnam and want to visit Nha Trang, any advice where the best place to stay?

there are a hundred nice places ranging from 5star to hostiles.. since you wont be spending much time in your room i'd say find a mini hotel in huong vuong or nguyen thien tuc street.. pay $7-$30 per night safe and clean and where the action is... 2-3 block /easy walk to beachI am going to vietnam and want to visit Nha Trang, any advice where the best place to stay?
The main touristy area is

The sailing club is better these days, it's quite a small city so stay near this area as a base there's plenty shops %26amp; places to eat, if you go else where your struggle to Communicate with people, the beach is near by.

it's defiantly cooler than HCMC just don't wonder down the beach or beach road after dark drunk,

we stayed a bit far out but had a bike for $5 a day so it wasn't to bad where we stayed the people didn't speak any English at all but we all tried and just laughed about it. it cost us $10au a night (10,000dong)

We went during tet and still had no worries finding heaps of places to stay, also take the express train it is a couple of hours quicker and much much smoother and better than any bus. the roads are too busy you'll never get any sleep.I am going to vietnam and want to visit Nha Trang, any advice where the best place to stay?
try to stay in a hotel in Tran Phu street,it goes along the beach and you can see the ocean from your window! try to stay high up as you can in the hotel, people there wake up early and streets are very noisy from very early morning, if you like to get some sleep in the morning
hi look at www.hostelsclub.com they do all price ranges , i sued the for vietnam and cambobia
The best advice I can give you is to ask Ong Jon. He knows more about Nha Trang than anyone I know including my uncle who lives there.
