Care to give your best piece of advice for the first year of marriage?
I'm on month seven.Care to give your best piece of advice for the first year of marriage?
Best advice, keep the lines of communication open at all times. Debate, but never argue. If an argument starts to happen. Shut up until cooler heads prevail. Pick your battles. Don't go ballistic because she left her pantyhose hanging from the shower for the 200th time. Have a clear understanding one where the responsibilities lie. Each should have chores or duties that work you your strength. In the bed room take care of her 1st then seek to gain for yourself. Time to time leave little ';I love you'; notes about, or a rose. Draw her an unexpected bubble bath with soft music and candles time to time. Whisk her away for surprise B%26amp;B weekends. NEVER EVER let another woman come between you and her. Buy her sexy underware. If you have to tell her something bad tell her 3 things good 1st(specially if it about her or something she did, or is doing) And again, KEEP THE LINES OF COMMUNICATION OPEN AT ALL COST. Then you should be on good footing.Care to give your best piece of advice for the first year of marriage?
Lower your expectations. I've been married about three months but someone gave me that advice a week before my wedding. I thought about it and they were right. So much above love, weddings, and marriage is a bunch of idealized BS. Communication and Compromise. It's hard sometimes but that's what it's all about. Good Luck!!!
Marriage is just like a covenat btn two people, therefore be wholly into it, commit yourself. Respect and trust build a healthy long lasting relationship.

Yeah the first five years are the roughest! After that it's smooth sailing until about year twenty and then it starts all over again! lol Marriage is rough but remember communication is the key. Never go to bed mad that helps out alot.

first year of marriage is the toughest for a couple. they need to understand each others likes %26amp; dislikes. way of living, eating etc. one needs to make a real effort to adjust with each other.
remember compromise is the key. may be in the beggining you will regret this relationship but don't rush into descisions give it a try and think positive. trust each other and be loyal.
